A tall, decorative fire pit in corten steel for your garden or patio, as an inviting outdoor family hearth. Stay out in the open until long after dewfall on summer nights, grilling sausages and toasting marshmallows over your garden fire pit. Integrated shielding protects the flames against gusting wind. The all-weather FireCylinder is designed for year-round outdoor use. Over time, natural weathering will give the fire pit a distinctive patina that will only add to its appeal. While the rust does not transfer like other rust, small stains or runoff may occur. A grill grid can be purchased as an optional extra to convert the fire pit into a barbecue. Made of corten steel. Cleaning We do recommend cleaning the surface once or twice a year. Cleaning should preferably be done without the use of cleaning agents. Brushing the surface to remove loose and more stubborn soiling is usually sufficient. Never use chlorinated cleaning agents. If you do use detergent, ensure that is iron-free and never use non-stainless steel scraping tools (spackler, file, etc.), iron-based sponges or non-stainless steel wool scouring pads for cleaning the surfaces. Oil and fat can be removed using organic cleaning agents. Take care to remove all traces of cleaning agent. Weathering steel products must not come into direct contact with salt such as road salt, as this type of deicing salt and water can damage the surface.
